Page 2

He looked a little older than me. He was handsome—tall and muscular, with sun-lightened brown hair and a deep tan. He was a little scruffy, but I liked that in a man.

His shirt was snug. Under it, he definitely had a lot of muscles going on.

I couldn’t believe he’d seen me topless before we’d even talked.

I kinda wanted him to see me topless again.

  On my terms this time.

  Ideally, he’d be topless, too.

I really wanted to see how good he looked without that stupid ‘Lincoln Pools’ t-shirt on.

I watched as he leaned over the pool, frowning and looking down into the water. He grabbed the back of his shirt and pulled.

Ask and you shall receive, I thought, smiling.

He put down the net in his hands and dove down into the water.

When he came back up, he lifted himself easily on to the side of the pool.

Watching him move was turning me on.

But then he turned, his entire body facing toward the house. His swimsuit was clinging to him, leaving nothing to the imagination.

  I felt my jaw drop.

His cock was enormous. Thick and long, and that was soft. If he grew at all when he got hard…

I felt warm between my thighs.

I grabbed my new Cosmo—the third of the day—and walked back out to the pool.

“Hey, Matt.” I tried to sound light-hearted. “Didn’t realize jumping in was part of cleaning the pool. I might need to call your boss and complain.”

He looked up at me, eyebrows raised. “Matt?”

I stopped. “Yeah, that—that’s your name, right? Or… it’s the name on the schedule…”

He laughed softly, shaking his head. “Matt used to work here. He did some stupid shit and got himself fired.”

“Oh.” I bit my lower lip. “Then, uh, what’s your name?”

He held his right hand out to me. “Myles Lincoln. Nice to meet you.”

  Lincoln.

  Lincoln Pools.

  Shit.

  This guy was the boss.

  Chapter Four

  Myles

It was kinda cute that she thought I was Matt.

It was really cute that she was so flustered about the misunderstanding.

I wasn’t mad. She’d clearly been teasing, not actually wanting to complain.

I smiled and shook my head, trying to ease her concerns. “Don’t worry about it. Matt isn’t the worst thing I’ve been called.”

Her face relaxed and she nodded. Finally, she took my hand, shaking gently.

“I’m Cassie. Nice to meet you, Myles.”

I nodded. “Good to meet you.”

“Will you be taking care of the pool from now on? Instead of Matt?”

I shrugged. “I’m not sure yet. Depends on the rest of my workload and how quickly I can hire somebody new.”

Cassie nodded. “Okay. Well, yeah. I’m sorry for the confusion.”

“It’s okay.” I shook my head. “I’m sorry about earlier. I tried to get your attention a few times. I promise, I wasn’t being creepy.”

It was hard not to glance down at her tits, which were sadly covered by a cotton halter dress.

Her nipples were still hard underneath.

I cleared my throat and continued. “I’ll be dropping by on Mondays and Wednesdays to clean the pool. Until I can find a replacement, anyway. Should I call your husband to let him know?”

She tilted her head, brows furrowed in confusion. “Husband?”

“Yeah. Isn’t that who I’ve been talking to? Mr. Raynor?”

“Oh! No, he—he’s not my husband.” Her cheeks went red. “He just, like, helps handle stuff around here. I don’t really know what his job title is.”

“Oh.” I nodded. “I see. Are you the owner then?”

“I am now.” She lowered her head a little. “My stepdad died. He left everything to me, so this is mine now. I’ve only been here a week.”

  Shit. That was rough.

And I definitely knew how hard losing someone was.

“I’m so sorry to hear that.” I reached out, touching her shoulder sympathetically. “I lost a good friend of mine recently. It’s hard.”

She nodded, swallowing. Her expression was tight. “Yeah. It really blows.”

I nodded, but changed the subject immediately. She probably didn’t want to dwell on her dead stepfather for long. “And sorry about assuming you were married to Mr. Raynor. Honestly, I haven’t talked to him since the one time he called, and that was a few years ago. I just send a guy out to handle the pool and he cuts me a check twice a month.”

“That’s good. I’m glad he’s handling things well.” Cassie smiled weakly. “Listen, so, earlier? I’m just having a bad day.”

“Every day’s a bad day when you’re grieving.” I shrugged. “I get it. I’ve been having a rough one, too. Feeling pretty lonely.”

She sighed. “Lonely, yeah. Same here.”

  Poor girl.

I gave her another light pat on the shoulder. “Well, listen, a part on your filter’s broken. I’m gonna finish up shortly, but I’ll have to come back and fix it. I’ll knock next time.”

When she smiled, it looked more genuine.

  It was beautiful.

“Yeah,” she said. “That sounds good.”

“I think I have one in stock, so if you don’t mind, I’ll come tomorrow. Around the same time?”

“Sure. I’ll be here. I don’t really have anywhere else to be.”

I gave her another sympathetic look.

She took a deep breath and nodded. “Well, I’ll let you finish your work. Do I need to pay you or anything?”

“Nope. Mr. Raynor will send a check. Don’t worry about it.”

“Okay. Well, have a good day.”

  “You, too, Cassie.”

I watched her walk back into the house, taking a long drink of her Cosmo as she went.

  Chapter Five

  Cassie

  I was buzzed, but working.

Dan had called me again and worn me down. I was mad about it, but didn’t know what else to do.

So I wrote his stupid article on swimsuits and sent it in.

But thinking about swimsuits only made me think about Myles, and how good he’d looked in those wet trunks. I imagined him, water dripping down his muscular torso, the thin fabric of the trunks clinging to his cock.

It was hard to focus when I kept imagining all the things I wanted him to do to me.

And God, I wanted him to do everything to me.

I sighed, finally closing my laptop. The article was sent; now I could get back to my drinking. I rose from the couch to make my way toward the bar when a knock stopped me in my tracks.

Who could be here this late?

I sighed and went to the door, missing my vodka already. I peered through the peephole and gasped softly.

  Myles.

I opened the door. He stood on the other side in tight jeans and a fitted t-shirt. All of his clothes looked like they were a size too small, but it worked on him.

  “Uh…hi?” I said.

“Hey.” He held up a plastic bag, the logo from his shop printed on it. “I figured I’d just bring the part by tonight, if that’s okay. Kinda just want to stick it in.”

He could stick it in any time he wanted.

I nodded and stepped back to let him in. “Sure, yeah. Come on in.”

He walked inside, passing me without looking around. I watched him walk back toward the pool.

My eyes were definitely on his ass.

It looked good in those jeans.

He looked incredible, and here I was in pajamas and a fuzzy bathrobe.

  Not sexy.

I shrugged off the robe while he was gone, glad I’d at least worn a matching pajama set instead of grubby sweats.

And I poured myself another Cosmo.

He was only gone a few minutes. When he returned, I smiled. “All good?”r />
“All good. Your filter is working right and everything is in order. And tomorrow’s supposed to be a beautiful day. I’d spend the whole time in the water if I were you.”

I nodded. “Maybe I will.” I smiled, not giving him a pause to see himself out. “Listen, I just wanted to apologize again. I was kind of a bitch earlier, you know? You scared me. And I overreacted.”

“It’s okay.” Myles shrugged. “I’m really not worried about it.”

I paused, wondering how I could spend more time with him. “Can I at least get you a drink before you go? As an apology?”

  “Sure.”

I smiled and led him into the bar.

I went behind it and he sat on one of the couches nearby, examining the selection. Noah had always kept it well-supplied. He had loved parties and entertaining more than anyone I’d ever met.

“What would you like?” I asked.

“Can I get a whiskey on the rocks?”

“No problem.” I made him his drink and carried it out. As I put it on the table in front of him, I bent my whole body forward.

The neck of my shirt slipped a little, revealing more of my breasts.

  He looked.

And then he sighed. “Listen, uh, I gotta be honest.”

Please don’t tell me you’re married.

“The part was just an excuse to come back by.”

  I raised an eyebrow. “Oh?”

“Yeah, I wanted to see you again.”

I smiled and came around the bar, sitting down on the couch next to him. “Well, I’m not mad that you stopped by.”

  “No?”

  “Not at all.”

I put my Cosmo down on the coffee table.

And leaned up to kiss him.

He met me in the middle of the couch, one hand immediately dropping to rest on my thigh. I wanted to pull it higher, guide his fingers between my thighs, but I held off.

  It would happen soon.

I was sure he’d give me everything I wanted.

I slid closer to him, twisting to face him. His other hand ran through my hair, pushing it back from my face as we kissed each other harder, deeper.

His tongue slid into my mouth.

I nipped gently at the tip before running my own against it.

Myles shifted first. He put one knee on the couch, turning toward me. I put one hand behind me to start leaning him back, pulling him down.

The windows were open, the sun still awake.

Anybody who stopped and looked could see this happening.

And I didn’t care at all.

I needed something to make me feel good. I needed Myles to fuck me, to give me what I’d seen in his swim trunks earlier. I needed to forget how sad I was, how lonely, how hurt.

This was what I wanted. More than anything.

I let Myles go, reaching for the bottom of his shirt. He sat up to let me pull it off. I flung it across the living room, not caring where it landed.

He pulled my shirt off next. I was already braless underneath.

He bowed his head, pressing kisses along my left breast until he reached my nipple.

I gasped as he closed his mouth around it and sucked.

My head dropped back against the couch. I barely moved as Myles pulled the tie on my pajama pants, sliding them as far down as he could without lifting me.

  His hand slid inside them.

One finger found my clit easily and started to stroke it, slow and teasing.

  “Myles…please.”

  “You want me?” he asked.

  I nodded.

He grinned against my skin. “How bad?”

  “Like…really bad.”

“I like that.” He lifted his head, whispering in my ear. “I wanted you the second I laid eyes on you. Lying out in the sun, topless…you looked so beautiful.”

I licked my lips hungrily. “Your swim trunks.”

He lifted his head, blinking. “What?”

“They—after you jumped in.” I groaned, starting to rock my hips against his hand. “I could…see it.”

  “See it?”

  “Your dick.”

  “Yeah?”

“Yeah.” I nodded. “I liked it.”

He chuckled. “Well. It’s all yours.”

Fuck, I liked the sound of that.

I reached for the button of his jeans, undoing them. He shifted up on his knees, squirming as I pushed them down.

I reached out and closed my fingers around his cock, stroking slowly from base to tip.

  He was huge.

I licked my lips, looking up at him. “Myles?”

  “Yeah?”

  “Fuck me.”

  Chapter Six

  Myles

  “Fuck me.”

Like she even had to ask.

I pushed her on to her back, rising to pull my jeans off completely. I pulled her pajama pants off as well, tossing them over my shoulder.

Something behind us thudded as it fell to the floor.

At least it hadn’t been glass.

Cassie didn’t seem to mind. She just looked up at me, almost adoring.

She really was a stunning woman.

I leaned back to get a good look at her.

She was perfectly curvy, hourglass-shaped. Her tits were glorious, her ass perfect.

I wanted to spent an entire day kissing and biting her thighs.

Her cheeks flushed pink as she looked up at me. “What?”

  “You’re just…gorgeous.”

She laughed. “Haven’t heard that in a while.”

I raised my eyebrows. “Are you a virgin?”

“What? Oh, God, no. It’s just been a little while.”

I nodded. “Yeah. Me, too. It’s been a while.”

She smiled. “Well, if you want to go slow…”

I laughed and leaned down to kiss her again. “No. I’m good. I want to enjoy this.”

She wrapped both arms around my neck, nodding.

Together, we fell back on to the couch. She draped one leg over the back of it, the other hooked around my waist.

I pushed two fingers against her clit.

Her whole body shuddered. She tilted her head back, moaning.

Somehow, it made her even more beautiful.

She tugged me into another hard kiss.

I groaned, easing my hand out from between us. I shifted it to my cock, already rock-hard for her.

I gave myself a few strokes, then shifted my hips.

  We lined up perfectly.

I pushed in, slowly, watching Cassie’s face. She opened her eyes to look up at me, her mouth a perfect O of pleasure as I took her.

Her legs tightened around my waist, trying to draw me in deeper.

“You feel so fucking good.” I leaned in, kissing her face, her neck.

She wrapped both arms around me. “Myles, please, give it to me.”

  I wasn’t going to refuse.

I started to thrust into her, setting a slow pace at first. It had been a while for both of us; I wanted to warm up a little.

But I didn’t plan on finishing this slowly.

Under me, Cassie moaned and whined, her nails digging into my shoulders. I liked how it felt.

I liked knowing I was making her feel so good.

She gasped in my ear. Her hips started to move, rocking just slightly against mine. “Harder,” she mumbled.

I nodded, kissing her neck again. I let myself move the way I wanted to—hard, fast, slamming into her.

Every time I buried myself all the way, she let out a squeal of pleasure.

I hadn’t heard anything so sexy in ages.

“Myles.” She gasped my name. I wanted her to say it like that forever. “I’m—I’m really close.”

  I was, too.

I nodded, pressing my forehead to her shoulder as I continued to thrust into her.

  “I’m coming,” she said.

She didn’t need to announce it, because I felt her tighten around me,
starting to shake. Her nails dug harder into my skin.

She turned my head and kissed me, muffling both our moans.

I stilled inside her, my balls tightening, then releasing.

I came inside her, gasping against her mouth.

She let me go as we both started to come down, sinking against the couch.

  “Holy shit, Myles.”

  “Holy shit, Cassie.”

She laughed softly. “Stay the night?”

Why not? “Yeah. I’d love to.”

  Chapter Seven

  Cassie

I really, really needed it to be Friday.

Since Myles and I had hooked up, he was all I could think about. Everywhere I went, I looked for him. Every time the doorbell rang or somebody knocked, I wanted it to be him.

I kept thinking about calling him and faking some kind of pool emergency, just to get his attention.

But I didn’t know what constituted a pool emergency.

And I really didn’t want to look desperate.

But god, I wanted him. I wanted to stop being so distracted. I had a lot to do around the house, and with Myles always on my mind, it was hard to think of anything else.

It kept me from cleaning out Mom and Noah’s room.

  Or doing anything else.

I’d barely made it through cleaning out the fridge without crying.

And I really wanted this guy to come over and fuck me again.

At least when we were together, I wasn’t thinking about how fucking sad I was.

Friday finally came. I was sitting at the island in the kitchen, working. From here, I could hear if anyone let themselves into the pool area.

When it happened, I grinned. I was fully dressed, but I had on my sexiest bra and panties under my clothes. I just wanted a good time with Myles to kick off the weekend.

I went out to the pool. “Hey!” I called.

The boy who looked up was definitely not Myles. He was tall and a little gangly, maybe nineteen.

  “Uh…hey?”

I blinked. “Oh. Sorry, I was expecting Myles.”

“Oh. No. I’m Eric.” He smiled, looking me over. “Hey, you’re kinda cute. Like…a MILF.”

  Oh, no.

I shook my head. “Nope. Don’t talk to me like that.”

Shit. I turned away, hurrying back toward the door.

And almost walked right in Myles.
